I am known among my kayak fishing friends that I like to change my kayaks regularly. Again I have come almost full circle to purchase a 2016 Hobie Mirage Revolution 13 after owning a Hobie Outback for the last 12 months. I had a Revolution 13 about ten years ago, and I must say I had forgotten just how fast this model is.
Also in the last 6 months I have purchased a new model from the Viking Kayak range called a Profish GT, this is a 4 meter paddle kayak. I have spent some time in this kayak recently and I rate it highly as an all round kayak suitable for creeks, rivers, lakes, estuaries, bays and off shore. It has excellent tracking, awesome stability and a well designed Tackle pod for storage of gear at arms reach and a place to install your fish finder.

In the last two years I have been paddling a Wilderness System Aspire 105 for my bass fishing in creeks and rivers as well as using it for fishing weekends down on the Qld/Nsw Border area chasing Murray Cod in the rivers. This kayak is a sit in paddle kayak and offers the best of everything, seat, stability, storage and fishability. However I am in the process of selling it as I have purchased a Hobie Quest 11 once again after owning one once before.
So my kayak fleet will consist of a Hobie Revolution 13 pedal kayak, a Hobie Quest 11 and a Viking Profish GT, watch for updates on the site soon for the latest pictures and reviews of these kayaks.
