Pro's : Very Stable, Excellent Tracking, Maneuverable, Extremely comfortable seating - adjustable three ways, Easily accessable hatches, a good layout for fishing, Handy storage pockets, Inbuilt Rudder Line Tubes.
Con's : The hull weight maybe a bit heavy but considered by some to indicate thicker plastic so a more durable kayak to wear in the long run.
Ability to Customise : The console of the kayak has two square indentations for locations of Scotty Mounts for forward Rod Holders, The Sidetrax System are built in rails along each side of the kayak front and rear which allow the kayak to fit many factory accessories such as rod holders, Electronics, Consoles or the system can be adapted to use your own system to mount accessories such as Ram products and the like. These sytems allow many accessories to be easily fitted to you kayak without the need to drill holes into your kayak.
Summary : The Tarpon 120 is a great kayak, it is real value for money when you consider what you are buying for $1200 dollars. The storage areas are more than ample and are easily accessible while on the water. The seating is second to none and it offers much comfort for the long days on the water. Add the stability, tracking and the ability to customise it to suit your style of fishing there is not much more you could want in a kayak.
